Puppy Training With Cory is specifically designed with new puppy parents in mind to guide you through the first 2-4 weeks of having your puppy at home. Online step by step, simple videos teaching you how to train your puppy.
Other trainings can take weeks to complete, but our simple and effective course materials allow you to go from inexperienced to expert in a weekend’s time.
This training empowers you set proper boundaries and habits, removes fear of the unknown, and allows new puppy owners to thrive alongside their puppy from day one.

Step 1 in our Harmony Doodles Puppy Raising Program is ENS. (Early Neurological Stimulation)
The first 3 weeks of your puppy’s life is an important time of rapid neurological growth and development, this is a key component for a well-behaved, confident and socialized dog.
The U.S. Military canine unit developed this system in an effort to improve the performance of dogs used for military purposes.
Later, this became known to the public as the “Super Dog” Program. Based on years of research, the military learned that early neurological stimulation exercises could have important and lasting effects.
Military studies confirmed that there are specific periods of time early in a puppy’s life when neurological stimulation has optimal results. The first period involves a window of time that begins at the third day of life and lasts until the sixteenth day.
TACTILE STIMULATION
Tactile stimulation - holding the pup in one hand, the handler gently stimulates (tickles) the pup between the toes on any one foot using a Q-tip. It is not necessary to see that the pup is feeling the tickle. Time of stimulation 3 - 5 seconds.
Head held erect - using both hands, the pup is held perpendicular to the ground (straight up), so that its head is directly above its tail. Time of stimulation 3 - 5 seconds.
Head pointed down - holding the pup firmly with both hands, the head is reversed and is pointed downward so that it is pointing towards the ground. Time of stimulation 3 - 5 seconds.
Supine position - hold the pup so that its back is resting in the palm of both hands with its muzzle facing the ceiling. The pup is allowed to sleep while on it’s back. Time of stimulation 3-5 seconds.
Thermal stimulation - use a damp towel that has been cooled in a refrigerator for at least five minutes. Place the pup on the towel, feet down. Do not restrain it from moving. Time of stimulation 3-5 seconds.

Step 2 is Puppy Socialization
Here at Harmony Doodles we specialize in proper socialization. We have a whole puppy raising program. 10 point daily handling process and daily playtimes. Puppies are exposed to a variety of different noises, smells and textures. Our puppies are also handled by both children and men. We want your puppy to be well socialized and ready for their new family with confidence. Between daily care, weekly pictures and videos, and play time, are puppies are known for making smooth transitions into the lives of our doodle families.
Puppy Head Start Training
If you are Looking for a Board and Train Option.
We are currently working with a few local puppy trainers including Rebecca Golian at Love in the Lead dog training. Message us for more info. She offers a 6 week Board and Train puppy school. She also has a wonderful and effective Therapy dog training program if that is something of interest to you please let us know. She and her team have trained several Harmony Doodle Puppies for Service work in Facilities and Homes.
Pick Up Day
Upon pick up of your puppy from Puppy Head Start Training, please allow extra time. Training with the new family ensures a smooth transition with everything you need to know about maintaining and continuing your puppy’s training and socialization.
