An F1 GoldenDoodle is a cross between a purebred Golden Retriever and a purebred Poodle. The F1 is a good choice for those who are more attached to the Golden Retriever breed and want a puppy that embodies more of the Golden personality and appearance. These dogs typically have loose, wavy coats. The downside of the F1 generation is they tend to still shed some—less than a purebred Golden Retriever but more than some other GoldenDoodle variations.
An F1b Doodle is a cross between an F1 GoldenDoodle and. a purebred Poodle. This results in puppies that are 75% poodle and 25% golden retriever. These dogs are known for their wavy and curly coats meaning reduced shedding. The F1b generation is ideal for allergy sufferers and those seeking less fur around the house.

Mini Goldendoodles
These dogs are usually 17 inches or less in height and weigh between 20 and 30 pounds. They are often popular with people who travel frequently or have small living spaces.
Medium GoldenDoodles
These dogs are typically 15 to 20 inches tall and weigh between 30 and 45 pounds. They are a good choice for families with larger homes or yards, or who enjoy outdoor activities. They are also small enough to live in apartments and condos.
Standard GoldenDoodles
These dogs are typically 20 to 24 inches tall and weigh between 45 and 60 pounds.

Both! All expecting mothers and young puppies are kept indoors until the puppies are 5 weeks old.
After 5 weeks we begin introducing them to a special yard area for playtime and potty-training. All of our dogs have access to a protected area year-round, and get lots of socialization from ourselves, and our children.
-
Yes we do, but not all of them live here at Harmony Doodles. We use a Guardian Home program so that all of our parent dogs are given the time and attention they deserve. We work with wonderful families who love dogs and are so happy to raise a Harmony Doodle.
The Moms come and stay here at Harmony Doodles during the time of birth and raising of their puppies. That give us time to love on and care for them and their new puppies.
Doodles are part of our life and involved in all of our daily activities. Our little ones love to be part of puppy holding and playtime, so if you have kids, be sure your pup will be primed and ready for play!
-
NO PUPPY from Harmony Doodles is purchased with breeding rights. All Harmonydoodles are sold with a binding spay/neuter and health contract. Any purchaser who breeds OR attempts to breed a Harmonydoodle Goldendoodle will have legal action taken out against them at the buyer's expense.
We take this seriously! Please do not contact us if you think you may want to breed our puppy now or in the future. We will never grant breeding rights later in the life of a HarmonyDoodle. We do offer a Guardian Home program for qualifying families!
Additional Information
Puppy Photos
We will be taking updated photos of all our puppies each week. When the puppies are 1-2 weeks old we will start reaching out to the families on the waiting list and adding families to the new litter waiting list. New photos are taken every Wednesday and sent out on Thursday.
Puppy Meet and Greet
When our puppies are 5-6 weeks old, we have our Puppy Meet and Greet events. We invite all the waiting list families for that litter to come and meet the entire litter. Some families choose their puppy at Meet and Greet. Puppies go to their first Vet appointment at 6 weeks old.
Finalize Puppy Choice
You get to choose your puppy!! At about 6 weeks of age, at Puppy Meet and Greet families will choose their puppy. Families that are unable to come to Puppy Meet and Greet, will be provided videos to help in the choosing process. We spend lots of time with all of the puppies and are familiar with and can evaluate for personality types. We are happy to give additional information on temperament , energy level and coat types ,to help you make the best choice for your family. If the puppy you are looking for is not available, you are welcome to stay on the waiting list for the next litter. Once you have chosen your puppy, we recommend going through Our Online Puppy Training Course. Puppies are ready to go to their forever homes at 8 weeks old.
Things You Should Bring
We suggest that you bring a towel or two, just in case of an 'accident' by your new puppy. There should also be at least one designated friend or family member to hold him/her on the trip home. At 8 weeks old your new puppy is ready to bond with his new family.
We don’t recommend transporting your new puppy in a crate if possible. The close contact while holding your puppy on the trip home allows for bonding.
What Your New Puppy Needs
A basic list of items to have on hand before picking up your new puppy includes:
Name Tag, Collar and Leash - check out our Favorite Products page where we have recommended collar, leash and tag options from Amazon.
Food and Water Bowls - check your local pet store or Amazon for your best options.
High Quality Puppy Food - we recommend PawTree Pet Nutrition.
Crate - check out our Favorite Products page for recommended crates…believe us, we’ve tried a lot!
4-5 Inexpensive Bath Towels (put these in their crate, and just throw them in the laundry when they get soiled).
Several Types of Toys - we have several recommended Kong brand toys on our Favorite Products page. Your puppy needs stimulation and having a variety of toys will help.
Slicker Brush - check our Favorite Products page.
Chew Treats - check our Favorite Products page.
Training Treats - although we mainly use regular dog food for training, we recommend PawTree Freeze Dried Raw Food for those that prefer using treats!
IMPORTANT NOTE
When taking your puppy to a pet store, any store, or the vet, it is wise to carry them at all times. This is because they have had only one set of shots at this time. Once your dog has had three sets of puppy shots, you will not need to worry about this.
